Travel Restriction Changes from 30 August 2021

The UK government has made some changes to the restrictions of certain countries as of 30 August 2021 at 4 am. Seven countries have been added to the green list, these countries are: The AzoresCanadaDenmarkFinlandLeitchenstienLituaniaSwitzerland If you are travelling back from a green or amber list country you do not need to quarantine, however you need to prove that you had a negative Covid test taken within three days of departure. You must also complete a passenger locator form and book a PCR test to be taken on or before day two of your arrival. This needs to be booked privately through a government-approved provider. Culture Secretary Maria Miller today launched a tourism partnership strategy for Britain which demands the travel industry and the federal government, which include key private and non-private sector bodies, to unite behind an extended-term ambition for growth that will see Britain welcome 40 million overseas visitors by 2020, spending £31.5 billion and supporting yet another 200,000 jobs around the country.
