Bangkok is the capital, largest urban area and primary city of Thailand. It has a tropical monsoon climate.

It known for its large green sections within the city centre, including the large forest park between Yannawa and Samut Prakan. Bangkok is Thailand's principal international gateway for Thailand's tourism industry and a destination in its own right.

The city boasts some of the country's most visited historical venues such as the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun. There are numerous projects to maintain Bangkok's historic sites in the Rattanakosin area and river districts. Bangkok is known as Orient's most cosmopolitan city and until now preserves its cultural heritage which makes it an irresistible place to visit.

Isan is the north east region of Thailand and is located on the Khorat Plateau. It is one of the most traditional areas of the country and many old Thai customs remain unchanged. It is a region with great history and there are many stone castles which are popular tourist attractions. The sites at Phimai and Phanom Rung have been superbly restored. The region is also home to Khao Yai, Phu Rua in Loei and Phu Kradung which are all national parks. The Phu Phra Bat Historical Park has lots of trails for walkers to follow or explore the caves and view the prehistoric cliff paintings. Nightlife can be found in Udon Thani. This region has much to offer.

Pattaya is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailad. Pattaya has a tropical wet and dry climate, which is divided into the following seasons: warm and dry (November to February), hot and humid (March to May), and hot and rainy (June to October).
