Charlotteville village from Fort Campbelton, TobagoTobago is the smaller of the 2 main islands with an area of only 300 square kilometres. The capital is Scarborough and the island is divided into seven parishes. The island is of volcanic origin. The island is also known as 'Robinson Crusoe Island' and 'The Galapagos of the West Indies'.  Just off the north coast in the caribbean sea are coral reefs which are ideal for diving or snorkeling to observe the local wildlife including manta rays and giant turtles.
The east of the island is home to the rainforest. Activities offered on the island include diving, snorkeling, riding, off road safaris and golf.
