Riga is the capital of Latvia and is the largest city in the Baltics.Riga has several districts with Old Town or Vecriga being the most popular among visitors. Visit the magnificent Doma Cathedral with its world famous organ. There are many superb restaurants surrounding the cathedral. ‘Al fresco’ dining is very popular during the summer months with many cafes and bars offering live music. The nightlife is superb.
Further afield is Jurmala, a famous seaside resort which was popular amongst citizens of the USSR. Amber is often washed up on the beach. For a fun packed day out for all the family visit the Livu Akvapark aquapark.
