Bozeman is a city situated in southwestern Montana and it has become one of the leading destinations for a western Rocky Mountain vacation. There are plenty of cultural and recreational attractions in the area. The Children’s Museum of Bozeman has hands-on, sensory exhibits or step back in time at the Gallatin Pioneer Museum. Low cost skiing is available at Bridger Bowl Ski Resort in the Bridger Mountains. Cross country skiing is also available. One of Bozeman’s most popular annual events is the Wild West Winterfest including a childrens rodeo, hockey tournament and horse drawn wagon rides. Yellowstone National Park is about a 2 hour drive away. This is the largest in the United Staes with over 2 million acres of geysers, lakes, waterfalls and wildlife.
