Are we really bothered about climate change?

Apparently backpackers care more about the environment than luxury travellers.....according to the inaugural International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) white paper.

Whilst wealthy travellers are aware about climate change they actually do little about it with few volunteering to offset carbon emissions - one reason given for non-participation is their scepticism that the carbon offset programmes do not work.
