Contact usContinental Airlines is the latest airline to offer passengers the opportunity to offset their carbon emissions.
The airline has teamed up with Sustainable Travel International.
Passengers will either be able to pay a contribution calculated on the carbon emissions related to their journey, or contribute towards a reduction in greenhouse gases scheme.
Proceeds will be used to fund the purchase of carbon offsets according to the airline.
