Scottsdale is nicknamed ‘The Wests’ Most Western Town’ and ‘The Beverly Hills of The Desert’. It has become recognised as a posh tourist destination whilst retaining it cowboy history. The city has become an art centre in the United States with over 125 galleries. The Scottsdale Arts Festival is held every March.The city prides itself in its cowboy history and hosts many ‘western’ events throughout the year. The most famous are the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show and the Scottsdale Jaycees Parada del Sol. Scottsdale also boasts many high end shops and more than 15 shopping centres. There are also many luxury restaurants, nightclubs and bars. The city has over 200 golf courses and is well known as a premier destination for golf.

Wickenburg is 60 miles northwest of Downtown Phoenix in the Northern reaches of the great southwest’s Sonoran Desert. Wickenburg is noted for its clean air, good country living, western hospitality and all-around high quality of life.Come see the jail tree with a prisoner attached. Also visit the other new bronze sculptures in town that are painted to look realistic. Don’t be surprised by the rattlesnakes on the sidewalks.
