Worthington is located in Nobles County, Minnesota. It is a friendly community in the south west corner of the state. It is well known for its hospitality.
Attractions in the area include Pioneer Village which reflects the early years of Nobles County, Nobles County Art Centre which has numerous annual shows as well as a permanent collection on display and Dayton House which was built in 1890 and has been restored by Historic Worthington Inc. Worthington offers a wide range of activities for all seasons. It is built around Lake Okabena which offers boating, water skiing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing. The second Saturday after Labor Day the town holds its Turkey Day Celebration. An event not to be missed if you are in the area. A great year round destination whose motto is ‘you’ll come to love us’.
