click to enlargeAgios Nikolaos is a beach settlement in Zakynthos, Greece and is approxiamately 32km northwest of Zakynthos City. The beach of Aghios Nicolaos, with fine pebbles, is a small cove in front of the homonymous small settlement, within the broader area of Volimes , at the eastern coast of the island. The entrance of the cove is protected by the small, uninhabited islet of Aghios Nicolaos, an interesting destination for ...good swimmers. The sea is deep and clear, ideal for swimming and the small port is always full of fishing boats, yachts and excursion boats that will get you to Galazies Spilies and Navagio. If you feel like travelling to another island, the ferries departing from the port will get you to Pessada of Cefallonia.
