Today, Bath remains the finest example of a Georgian city in Britain and attracts large numbers of tourists from around the world.

Bury St Edmonds is a market town in the county of Suffolk, England and formerly the county town of West Suffolk. It is the main town in the borough of St Edmundsbury and known for the ruined abbey near the town centre.

The town is known for brewing (with the large Greene King brewery) and for a British Sugar processing factory.

Among noteworthy buildings is St Mary's Church, where Mary Tudor, Queen of France and sister of Tudor king Henry VIII, was re-buried, six years after her death, having been moved from the Abbey after her brother's dissolution of the Church. Queen Victoria had a stained glass window fitted into the church to commemorate Mary's interment.

Chester is a city in Cheshire, England. It has the reputation of being the "English medieval city par excellence", but many of its buildings are from the Victorian era. Milton Keynes is located in south east England about 45 miles north west of London. It is one of the countries 'new towns' and is unique in its use of a grid system for its roads. Newquay  is a town,  seaside resort and fishing port in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Paignton is a coastal town in Devon in England. Together with Torquay and Brixham it forms the unitary authority of Torbay which was created in 1998. The Torbay area is a holiday destination known as the English Riviera.

Paignton's economy relies extensively on tourism and the town is marketed as a location for family holidays. The main seafront area is dominated by Paignton Pier, a 780-foot long structure opened in 1879. Regatta Week during early August is the peak holiday season. The line was closed by British Rail during the cutbacks of the Beeching era in the 1960s, and is operated today as a heritage railway line.
