Cat Island is the sixth largest island in the Bahamas located south east of Eleuthera. The island is 48 miles long and varies between 1 and 4 miles in width. It is also home to the highest point in the Bahamas (Mount Alvernia). Cat Island is a tranquil paradise with fantastic beaches and climate. Activities on offer include kayaking, bonefishing, snorkeling and scuba diving. Eleuthera is an island in the Bahamas about 50 miles east of Nassau. It is about and hours flight from Miami. The island is 100 miles long and is between a quarter of a mile to 4 miles wide. Its eastern side faces the Atlantic Ocean and the western side faces the Great Bahama Bank.Eleuthera has some of the best beaches in the Bahamas with miles of pink sand and emerald water.It is well known for its friendly people. Diving is fantastic with opportunities to see coral reefs, caves, ship-wrecks, blue holes, sharks, dolphins and stingrays.
Attractions on the island include Glass Window Bridge, Preachers Cave, Hatchet Bay Caves and Ocean Hole.
Activities on offer include jet skiing, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, adventure tours and fishing (especially bonefishing).
