Polling is close to Salzkammergut. It is near the Thermal Spas of Geinberg- Fuessing-Griesbach,Altheim and Reichersberg. The area is quiet & peaceful. The town situated between the two historic towns of Ried and Braunau and is close to the cultural center of Stift Reichersberg. The biking trail of ROEMERRADWEG and many wonderful walking trails are nearby.

Zirl is a market town in the Innsbruck-Land district of Austria. It is located about 10km west of Innsbruck. It is a great year round destination with plenty of activities on offer. In the winter ice skating, skiing, cross country skiing, sleding and hiking are readily available and in the summer enjoy horse riding, rock climbing, hiking, rafting and mountain biking. Zirls location make it an ideal base for exploring the area.
