American Airlines has asked the Department of Transportation for a delay in it's launch of the direct service between Chicago, Illinois (ORD) to Beijing, China (PEK) from 9th April 2009 to 4th April,2010.

Dallas-Forth Worth, Texas (DFW) to Bloomington, Illinois (BMI) once per day from 2nd November, 2008.
