Boasting about 300 days per year of sun, this region offers a large diversity of landscapes, historical sites and leisure :
Prestigious places are accessible within a 30 minutes drive : the city of Avignon and the Pape’s palace, the roman city of Nîmes, the first french duchy of Uzčs and its lovely provencal market, as well as the famous « Pont du Gard » classified by the UNESCO as World Heritage.
The village of Euzet is surrounded by vineyards and garrigue (forest with mediterranean trees). It\\\\\\\'s located on the edge of the Cevennes National Parc and nearby the Ardčche and Tarn canyons.
The Camargue and the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean are only 60km away.
There are a lot of medieval villages in the area too which are worth exploring, like Vezenobres, Barjac or Lussan, Anduze and its giant bamboo’s forest and the steam train ride in the Cevennes mountains.
The house is located on the edge of the garrigue, overlooking the quiet and lovely village of Euzet : 300 inhabitants.
The 40 sqm gîte is part of the owner’s house, on the ground floor, its got its own entrance and a private garden.
The living area is spacious and light, combining the charm of the provençal style and a modern fittings.
The gite l-Oustau de l-Olivier offers a 800 m˛ garden with mediterranean species (mulberry trees, rose laurels...) and a superb swimming pool with wood solrium around an hundred years old olive tree.
