This rural luxury country retreat, MASIA MASQUEMADO, started off life in the XVIII century as two stone farmhouses now having been totally restored, extended and prepared for its new tourist destination.
The two original farmhouses have been joined by a superb glassed structure that has formed a naturally illuminated space dedicated to a large lobby and common lounge area with chimney, bar and cafeteria.

The property has twelve double bedrooms, all them external with natural light and each with its own en-suite bathroom and television. Three of the rooms have an attic where supplementary beds are located (One double bedded and the other two rooms have supplementary single beds).

This luxury country retreat has also been well prepared to face the cold winter months in the mountains of Teruel, thanks to its efficient central heating system and good thermal insulation.

The magnificent panoramic views of mountains and green, or snow clad, valleys through the windows of the prevailing stone and the wooden beams of this luxury country retreat are outstanding.

Masia Masquemado has a large games room where you can play chess or the billiards, and other rooms with super fireplaces and chimney such as the large dinning area and study where one can eat and read peacefully, or watch television.

The great attractiveness of Masia Masquemado is that it resides in the beauty of the natural parks that surround it, and within its own million and half square meters (150 hectares) of mountains, grasslands, horses and own river, the Sollavientos.

To demonstrate that we literally situated in the mountains, the town of Allepuz is 1,474 meters altitude above sea level and our luxury country retreat itself, nothing less than 1,626 altitude above sea level. The ski resort and slopes of Valdelinares is only 7 miles away, which makes it a perfect base to enjoy that white winter sport.

In the vicinity there is an ornithological reservation discovering the river Alfambra, from which flows the river Sollavientos. The mountains of Gúdar offers thousands of possibilities for lovers of the nature, through its pine groves, springs of crystalline waters and established tracks for those fond of the walking and exploring.
