The Tsitsikamma National Park surrounds Natures Valley with a pristine beach, a beautiful lagoon and the indigenous Tsitsikamma forest. Expect to see Southern Cape Bushbuck, Bushpigs and an array of wild birds pass through the garden of Nectar Cottage.
Set in Natures Valley, arguably the most beautiful part of the Garden Route in South Africa, The area is unique in that it lies nestled in the Tsitsikamma National Park coastal forest - the only residential area within a South African National Park. Southern Cape Bushbuck, Bushpigs, and wild birds can frequently be seen in the gardens of Natures Valley village.
To the south of Natures Valley is the Indian Ocean, east the Groot River lagoon, and north and west the Tsitsikamma Forest. The majestic Tsitsikamma, Kouga, Kammanassie and Groot Swart mountain ranges flank this coastal area. Natures Valley is 37 Kilometres east of Plettenberg Bay and 45 kilometres west of Storms River Mouth, just off the picturesque R102 and is quite accessible.
