Established in 1987 by Sofronis Potamitis, in an effort to revive rural communities and preserve the traditional houses of bygone days. With loving care, several abandoned and ruined family houses were thoroughly renovated to provide comfort without sacrificing their original, rustic character.

Our Vasilikos apartments offer 1 and 2-bedroom apartments with self-catering facilities in a well-equipped kitchenette, and central heating/air-conditioning and once week cleaning service. Notice the thick walls, small windows, stone or wooden staircases so typical of our islands architecture of yesteryear. On your veranda, in your patio or garden you can relax with a drink or a book any time of the day. In the village our swimming pool with sun beds is within easy reach and reserved for our guests. Breakfast is included in the terms of accommodation and is served at the local Tochni Taverna just a few minutes walk away. Also you will enjoy any evening the authentic traditional Cypriot cuisine of our Tochni Taverna. Activies offered are:

- Riding at our Drapia horse farm
- Cycling on professional bikes and guided tours possible
- Hiking and jogging on specially marked nature trails
- Therapeutic massage/sports massage/relaxation massage
- Sauna/Jacuzzi
- Watching the making of Cyprus cheese - halloumi - at a local goat farm.  

Rental Notes  

Confirmation of your reservation is official only after we receive a deposit of at least 30%, although we will make a provisional booking to secure your reservation before hand.

The full balance due is paid one day after your arrival at our main office at Tochni village either in EUROS or credit card.

Cancellations received over 6 weeks prior to your arrival you will be entitled to full refund of your deposit or you have the choice of 13 month booking period beginning after your cancelled reservation date to re-book and your deposit will be valid. Any cancellations received in any period of 6 weeks prior to your reservation arrival date your 30% deposit will be considered as cancellation fee.

Check in is possible after 1.00pm midday of your reservation date and check out is 12 clock midday. Late check out is possible only upon request and is subject to availability and applicable fee.

At Tochni Cyprus Village from June 23 to 27

Having safely returned home after two excellent weeks in Cyprus, we wish to thank you for your warm and friendly hospitality. We have really enjoyed our stay at Tochni/Cyprus Village. And in particular, we do remember with great pleasure our last evening, when you had a full house - nevertheless, we got our coffees on the house and were allowed to stay on in our room until 10 p.m. - since our plane was leaving only at 3.30 a.m. the next morning.
Our whole holiday in Cyprus was a success and you added the final crowning touch on it - we will remember Tochni Cyprus Village and the Governors Beach..and will recommend it to our friends.
