There is plenty to see and do in and around Kaikoura so we have a 2 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. Kaikoura is well known for Whale watching and swimming with the Seals and Dolphins. There are many bush and coastal walks.Less than an hour away is a ski field for winter sports. Around 1 1/2 hours drive is the Malborough wine area.The city of Christchurch has the nearest International airport and is under 2 1/2 hours drive from Kaikoura The Artists Retreat at Homewood Hill is situated on a small hill overlooking farmlands and the bay of Kaikoura township from which we are only 5 minutes drive.Co host Karen James is a well known artist in oils, acrylics and pastels and has a gallery/studio on the property.The Artists Retreat is NON SMOKING.
