A great place to stay. Keith & Sabine are excellent hosts: always helpful and friendly.
Keith arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport, which was on time. He was there to welcome us and to help us with the luggage when we arrived at the apartments.

The self-catering apartments contain eveything you need for a perfect holiday; they also have the most wonderful views over the sea from the balcony, which need to be seen! Angela, the housekeeper is lovely and always does a thorough job with the cleaning.

Great swimming pool, with massage jets and a seat in the corner; it is professionally cleaned every other day. Lots of sunbeds and a large umbrella providing shade in the heat of the day. Very safe, it is fenced all round.

The gardens are exquisite, containing innumerable tropical plants, also coconut palms, banana trees, spinach, lemons and lots more. Keith is fanatical about his garden and will always find time to give you a guided tour.

There is even a small library of books in English and German, which are available to guests to read and swap.

Keith also does his own tours and they are a MUST! He is so knowledgeable and you see things that you would miss on a larger tour. He will adapt his tour to suit your personal requirements, and at a very reasonable price too.

Yes, the apartments are at the top of a hill, but the whole island is very hilly, so adding to its beauty. The majority of the walk from the main road isnot particularly steep its only the last 100 metres which is a little challenging, but it is well worth the effort.

We came here expecting this to be a one-off visit to St Lucia and Espoir. However Keith, Sabine and all of their staff have made us feel completely at home here; so much so, that we shall definitely be
returning next year. Indeed, a large proportion of their guests return, which speaks volumes.

We would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to stay here.

My fiance and i were staying in vieux fort next to the airport and we didnot like it very much as it was noisy when the planes flew over. we decided to find somewhere in the north of the island. my fiance wanted to experience what it was like staying there as he had been to soufriere and vieux fort. when we found apartment espoir we were delighted as we had been searching for a place for days since we landed. it was exactly what we had seen on the web; fresh, clean and amazing.
we enjoyed every bit of our holiday there. it was memorable and we will be back soon. we would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

Although its now over 10 years since we visited, we still very often think of the wonderful time we spent in St Lucia. Sabine and Keith were the best hosts you could imagine and we enjoyed every second of being there. Once again, we have been browsing through the photos and wished we could come over asap!!!
We have told our daughter so much about the island and how much we felt at home and hope to be able to show her in the near future.
For everyone who is thinking of staying at the Appartments Espoir. Dont have second thoughts - just go there and Iam sure you wont be disapoited!!
