This charming home is located just three blocks from the center of town (and 15 kilometers from the Gulf of Mexico and 6 hours from the colonial city of Oaxaca). This small colonial house was once the home of the town midwife. For two generations almost everyone in town was born there and they have a deep affection for it.
A tropical guest house, we offer two rooms for rent on a daily basis and a furnished apartment for rent by the day, week, or month. Pets are OK. One room has two single beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, and a private bath for $40US for one or two persons per night; $240US per week. The second room has a double bed, A/C, and a shared bath with the owner. Same prices as above. Both of these rooms share a screened-in porch and have all glass French doors opening onto the porch.

The apartment is on the second floor overlooking a small garden with a private entrance. It has two double beds, sofa and chairs, dining area, complete kitchen with a microwave, and satellite TV. The apartment is air conditioned and also has a ceiling fan. The bath is completely tiled and has a glass block wall. The apartment has three all-glass French doors opening onto the screened-in porch. There is also an area off the porch for sunbathing. Rental is $75US per night (can sleep 4), $450 weekly or $1350US per month for 1 or 2 persons.

The owner lives in the ground floor unit which shares a small garden courtyard. He speaks English and some Spanish.
