According to Testa, the church's colors evoke colonial Buenos Aires. In addition to an art bookstore and shop, the Centro Cultural Recoleta has diverse exhibition halls on two floors, an auditorium, pretty patios and a beautiful terrace. The Centro Cultural Recoleta is a focal point of the city's cultural activity. A complete panorama of activities in the realm of scenic and plastic arts take place here. Visitors may catch plastic arts, photographic, sculpture and video-art exhibits, learn about tendencies of the aesthetic avant-garde as well as participate in courses and workshops and attend conferences and encounters with artists.
