Our house has been designed with our visitors comfort and pleasure in mind.
The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Each has its own distinctive character and features a full bath.
The cozy living room, with its fireplace (in the wintertime), comfortable furniture, and selection of books and board games, is a perfect place to relax.
Breakfasts are both generous and delicious. Do not take our word for it - come and find out for yourself!!
In the summertime, a private in-ground swimming pool awaits you in our vast garden, a spellbinding place where spending long hours doing nothing at all is permitted, and in fact, strongly encouraged. In both the wintertime and the summertime, you can pamper yourself in our spa. Do not be surprised if you see a friend of the family - Bambi, a very sweet deer - sprint out of the forest.
The house features several balconies - just pull up a chair and enjoy watching the time pass by...
The immediate surroundings are full of interesting places to visit. In addition to the Musee Laurier next door and the other Victorian houses that make Rue Laurier one of the loveliest in the region, here are some other sights to see:
The Saint-Christophe d\'Arthabaska Church, its stunning neo-Baroque ornamentation (done by one of Quebecs most famous painters, Marc-Aurele DeFoy-Suzor-Cote) and its picturesque cemetery; the Mont Arthabaska park, its walking trails and picnic areas; and, if you travel a bit further, you will take in the hilly landscapes all the way to the town of Chesterville, known as the Switzerland of Quebec, the Route Verte (Green Route) for cyclists, golf courses, and the Balades gourmandes (Gourmet Tours), where visitors can discover local products such as Quebec\'s chesses and, of course, maple syrup.
