  • News: Maaß appointed chief operating officer at Messe Berlin

    Messe Berlin has announced the appointment of Ingrid Maaß as its new chief operating officer following its latest regular supervisory board meeting.

    The move follows a choice by the supervisory board, in December 2012, to nominate Christian Göke to succeed the present chief executive, Raimund Hosch, who’s as a result of retire on the end of June.

    Maaß studied business management, and, following posts with KPMG Consulting, IKB Private Equity and The economic Investment Council, was a board member of CNC Communications & Network Consulting AG in Munich.

    Hans-Joachim Kamp, chairman Messe Berlin supervisory board, welcomed the verdict: “Ingrid Maaß possesses outstanding financial and business management expertise.

    Members of the general public & Commercial Services Union have confirmed they’re going to walk out on strike next weekend, potentially disrupting border checks across the UK.
