  • Ascott rolls out free wi-fi to customers

    The Ascott, the world’s largest international serviced residence owner-operator, is offering free internet access to all guests who book its apartments at Best Available Rates.

    Free internet can be available across greater than 100 properties under the Ascott, Citadines and Somerset brands worldwide.

    In addition, wireless internet access is now available in most apartments and may be rolled out progressively to all apartments by the tip of this year.

    Wi-Fi can also be available in common areas which includes the lobby and residents’ lounge of Ascott’s serviced residences.

    Tony Soh, Ascott’s chief corporate officer, said: “Connectivity is significant for our guests. Lots of them carry at the least one mobile device and use Wi-Fi, and this trend have been increasing yearly.

    “Providing free internet and Wi-Fi will enable them to remain connected always. We’ll be progressively boosting bandwidth to fulfill the increasing data demand by our guests.

  • Centara opens new hotel within the heart of Bangkok’s fashion district

    Centara Watergate Pavillion Hotel Bangkok, located within the city’s Pratunam fashion and garment district and integral to the Watergate Pavillion Fashion Mall, opened on 1 April 2013.

    The four-star hotel is the fourth to be opened in Bangkok by Centara Hotels & Resorts, Thailand’s leading hotels operator.
