  • GIBTM: Oman brings latest developments to Abu Dhabi

    Oman’s ministry of tourism will give a different presentation of the newest tourism developments inside the sultanate as portion of its participation on the Gulf Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings exhibition.

    “The success of our participation at GIBTM 2013 will set the pace for the remainder of the initiatives and activities that we have got lined up for the year.

    “We are hopeful for showcasing the Sultanate’s world-class meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions amenities on the GIBTM, as well as Oman’s unique array of leisure, cultural, historical attractions.”

    GIBTM 2013 will gather professionals from the MICE industry within the Middle East, including regional and international industry buyers and suppliers.

    The trade event have been recognised as a driver behind the construction of the pro MICE industry around the region.

  • West Ham to take Olympic Stadium in 2016

    West Ham United have once more been awarded the fitting to make the Olympic Stadium in east London their home from the beginning of the 2016/17 season.

    In turn, West Ham agreed to extend their very own funding of the project by £5 million, to £15 million.

    Under conversion plans, the roof would be extended and the seating capacity reduced from 80,000 to 54,000, with a retractable system allowing the venue to be converted from an athletics arena to football stadium within days.
