Hilton Worldwide reveals major growth in Middle East

Hilton Worldwide has revealed the level of its growth across Middle East and Africa with the disclosing of figures showing a 440 per cent increase to its pipeline from 2007 to offer day. Reinforcing the company’s position because the pre-eminent international hospitality company inside the region, the information, which was taken from December 31st 2007 to March 31st 2013, sets out the company’s pipeline expansion in 2007 from 13 hotels with 3,570 rooms to today’s figure of nearly 60 properties, representing nearly 20,000 rooms that are now in development across MEA. News: GTMC welcomes third new member this month

The GTMC has welcomed its second Uniglobe member and the third new member this month – Uniglobe Preferred Travel. Preferred Travel was incorporated in November 1992 and is one among Uniglobe’s largest affiliates sharing global accounts with its network partners across five continents.  The corporate has its headquarters in Brighton, Sussex and in addition has an office in Westminster, London, they employ over 30 members of staff. News: Vietnam Airlines expands services from London Gatwick

Vietnam Airlines has announced will probably be extending its services from Gatwick Airport. During the summer, Vietnam’s flagship carrier will add a fifth weekly service from Gatwick, increasing its Ho Chi Minh City route from two to 3 flights every week. The airline may also continue to serve Hanoi twice per week. The announcement comes because the UK and Vietnam celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between both countries. Throughout 2013, a programme of cultural, educational and innovation exchanges and events will mark the milestone year. Relations have grown rapidly between the united kingdom and Vietnam, with the 2 countries signing a Strategic Partnership Agreement in 2010 to assist boost bilateral trade, economic ties and investment.
