  • World Travel Awards issues final demand Indian Ocean votes

    World Travel Awards – known globally because the Oscars of the travel industry – has issued a last demand voters to cast their ballots sooner than the Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony next month.

    Established in 1993, WTA is recognised globally because the highest accolade in travel and tourism, and serves to recognise, acknowledge and reward excellence of shopper service, product development and business performance within the tourism industry.

    A stylish, exclusive and spectacular World Travel Awards Gala Ceremony is scheduled to happen on May 12th on the Paradise Island Resort & Spa within the glorious Maldives.

    Awards in over 50 categories will see premium travel, tourism and hospitality companies compete for coveted awards.

  • Paradise Island Resort inside the Maldives prepares for World Travel Awards

    Indian Ocean paradise destination the Maldives is preparing to hose the sector Travel Awards Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony on May 12th.

    It would be the first time the awards ceremony has visited the destination, with the distinguished event acclaimed globally as a premier networking platform within the travel industry.

    The Gala Ceremony would be a classy and glamorous five-star island-style event, synonymous with the idyllic Maldives.

    The event also marks a double celebratory year, with the Maldives celebrating 40 years of tourism, while the realm Travel Awards is celebrating its 20th Anniversary.

    Paradise Island Resort & Spa, section of the Villa Group, will host the development, welcoming an array of personalities and leaders from the region.

    Hosting the ceremony can be internationally acclaimed television and movie personality Shereen Mitwalli, who has hosted events world wide and should bring her experience, warmth and glamour to the evening.

    Lets go Maldives – a number one consortium of experienced travel professionals who passionately promote the selling of this exquisite region – may also offer its support the worldwide event.
