The implementation of hotel content from Quickbeds.com will provide a different 4,200 Australian-based hotel offerings to the already extensive Travelport Rooms and More database. Quickbeds.com (a division of Flight Centre Ltd) is the 21st supplier to be implemented in Travelport Rooms and More because the engine was launched in 2011. Representatives from Banyan Tree resorts all over the world have called in on the exclusive Corinthia Hotel in London as portion of a world tour to advertise the logo. Handpicked agents from around the UK were handy to greet the hoteliers, as they discussed the most recent offerings from Banyan Tree properties. News: Eilat hit by two rockets

At least two rockets have hit the southern Israeli Red Sea resort of Eilat, in accordance with reports. Police revealed the rockets landed in open areas, without causing damage or injury. The Israeli military have stated that they were fired from Sinai in Egypt. Warning sirens went off earlier than the rockets hitting. Eilat, a well-liked tourist destination at the Red Sea, is a narrow stretch of water bordered by Sinai on one side and Saudi Arabia at the other. It has previously been hit by rockets fired by militants in neighbouring countries. The Egyptian military is investigating the incident. Recommended

DoubleTree by Hilton launches in Australia

Hilton Worldwide has announced that it’s going to introduce its fastest growing full-service brand, DoubleTree by Hilton, to Australia when it rebrands four Northern Territory hotels on 1 May 2013.
