The global air travel map is being redrawn as new markets evolve, traditional markets decline and the airline industry reshapes itself to house changing conditions, in line with Etihad Airways’ president James Hogan. Speaking in Abu Dhabi today on the World Travel & Tourism Council Global Summit, Hogan told greater than 800 senior travel executives that legacy airlines were unlikely to progress unless they radically changed the best way they did business. News: WTTC 2013: Scowsill requires private and non-private partnership

“The private and public sector must come together and concentrate on long run strategies, infrastructure and initiatives, not only short term goals, with the intention that our industry is previous to the expansion curve,” World Travel & Tourism president David Scowsill has argued. In his closing speech on the 13th WTTC Global Summit in Abu Dhabi, Scowsill explained that, by 2050, there’ll be three billion people enjoying middle class wealth – meaning more middle class consumers, enjoying more travel, creating more jobs and generating more GDP. Officials from Hainan have taken at the mantel of the realm Travel & Tourism Council Global Summit because the 2013 event involves a detailed in Abu Dhabi.
